Foi assinado nessa terça-feira (20/2) protocolo de intenções entre o Banco de Desenvolvimento de Minas Gerais (BDMG) e o Tribunal de Justiça de Minas Gerais (TJMG) com o objetivo de incluir o Banco nos programas “Destrava Minas” e “Destrava 853”, que visam viabilizar a continuidade de obras públicas suspensas no estado em razão de conflitos judiciais.  Dessa forma, o BDMG poderá oferecer financiamento a municípios que, após acordos feitos via mediação/conciliação, desejem retomar as intervenções paralisadas.

“Estamos incluindo o BDMG nesse acordo como forma de viabilizar os valores financeiros para os municípios concluírem obras paradas. Essa é nossa vocação e nossa prioridade, financiar os municípios é gerar renda, oportunidades. A conciliação é uma forma bastante inteligente de fechar acordos antes de virar uma ação judicial”, afirmou o presidente do BDMG, Gabriel Viégas Neto.

Segundo o presidente do TJMG, desembargador José Arthur de Carvalho Pereira Filho, a entrada do BDMG no projeto é importante para que os municípios consigam, após os acordos de conciliação, retomar as obras. “São mais de 1.000 obras paradas em Minas e identificamos que seria importante criar um mecanismo para destravar obras por meio do Cejusc (Centros Judiciários de Soluções de Conflitos e Cidadania). Agregar o BDMG a esse projeto é de suma importância. Ao destravar uma obra, o município precisa de financiamento e aí entra o BDMG”, ressaltou.

Os dois programas foram lançados em 2021, com a participação do Governo do Estado. Na ocasião, foram criadas duas portarias determinando o levantamento de obras públicas paralisadas nos municípios e a posterior proposição de medidas de autocomposição para que essas intervenções fossem retomadas, evitando, assim, a judicialização.

Também nesta terça-feira, foi assinado com o TJMG Acordo de Cooperação Técnica para adoção da mediação e da conciliação para situações de inadimplência envolvendo empresas que acessaram o crédito do BDMG e, por motivos diversos, não cumpriram com o pagamento dentro dos prazos definidos, tornando-se inadimplentes. O objetivo da parceria é reduzir a judicialização de situações que podem ser resolvidas no âmbito dos Centros Judiciários de Soluções de Conflitos e Cidadania (Cejuscs).
