Por um Estado verde, próspero e sustentável, o Governo de Mato Grosso do Sul lançou há oito meses a Política de Incentivo ao uso do GNV (Gás Natural Veicular) em Mato Grosso do Sul. Só em taxas do Detran-MS (Departamento Estadual de Transito de Mato Grosso do Sul) o cidadão que faz a conversão deixa de gastar cerca de R$ 850 (baseado no valor da Uferms de fevereiro).

O valor é referente às taxas de autorização de alteração de característica, emissão de CRV de alteração de característica e vistoria, sendo essa isenção uma forma de fomentar a conversão para um combustível mais limpo e sustentável. Além disso, o proprietário que faz a conversão tem o benefício da isenção total de IPVA (Imposto sobre a propriedade de veículos automotores).

“Todos os Estados estão focando na redução da poluição que o GNV proporciona e na redução de custos para o cidadão. É um longo caminho. Vale mencionar os veículos elétricos também, pois são buscas que os governos estão fazendo para que a gente tenha principalmente a redução de poluição”, avalia o diretor-presidente do Detran-MS, Rudel Trindade.

Para regularizar um cilindro já instalado ou fazer a conversão GNV é necessário agendar uma vistoria prévia na sede do Detran, que fará os apontamentos necessários e emitir uma autorização. Com esse documento, o proprietário vai até uma das duas oficinas credenciadas pelo Inmetro na Capital para fazer a instalação.

O custo médio do kit gás, já com a instalação, gira em torno de R$ 4 mil a R$ 5,4 mil, dependendo do tamanho do cilindro – que são classificados pela capacidade de armazenamento em metros cúbicos (m³). O proprietário que desejar a instalação deve pesquisar sobre a capacidade do cilindro, além da autonomia. Os tamanhos mais comuns no mercado são de 7,5 m³ e 15 m³.

Depois de instalado o kit gás, será necessário ir até uma ITL (Instituição Técnica Licenciada), que vai emitir um CSV (Certificado de Segurança Veicular). Nesta etapa os engenheiros farão testes e procedimentos técnicos para validar a instalação correta do cilindro e se as emissões de poluentes estão dentro do que é estabelecido pelo Conama (Conselho Nacional do Meio Ambiente).

Vale lembrar que a condução de veículo com característica alterada sem a devida inspeção veicular gera riscos de acidentes graves e fatais, e também torna os proprietários sujeitos à multa grave no valor de R$ 195,23 e apreensão do veículo para regularização. Atualmente a frota de veículos movidos a GNV no Estado é de 4,8 mil veículos, sendo a maior parte, 3,8 mil na Capital.
