Investimentos anunciados nesta terça-feira (12) pelo governador Eduardo Riedel, garantem um avanço importante na área de infraestrutura para Brasilândia, localizada na região Leste de Mato Grosso do Sul. Após a pavimentação e a drenagem do bairro Juvenal Serafim Uchoa, com recursos de R$ 3,2 milhões dos cofres estaduais, a cidade chegará a 100% das ruas asfaltadas.
O pacote de obras ainda inclui R$ 2,5 milhões no recapeamento de vias e R$ 2,9 milhões para a pavimentação de 88 quilômetros da MS-040, entre Santa Rita do Pardo e Brasilândia. “Pretendemos dar a ordem de serviço no segundo semestre deste ano, se tudo caminhar bem”, disse o governador.
Acompanhado de outras lideranças do município com aproximadamente 11 mil habitantes e com PIB (Produto Interno Bruto) de R$ 600 milhões, o prefeito Antonio de Pádua Thiago comemorou o anúncio da obra: “Nossa cidade é uma das portas de entrada em Mato Grosso do Sul via estado de São Paulo e essa obra é de fundamental importância para todos os segmentos. O nosso agro que é muito forte, o nosso comércio local e principalmente vai facilitar o acesso da nossa população à capital do nosso Estado”.
O encontro faz parte de uma série de reuniões feitas pelo governador nas últimas semanas para ouvir as demandas das cidades de Mato Grosso do Sul. “Assim a gente não perde o contato, a referência de tudo que está acontecendo. Isso calibra muito as nossas ações”, disse Riedel.
Para o prefeito de Brasilândia, a oportunidade de representantes de vários setores terem acesso ao chefe de Estado em uma roda de conversa, garantindo os principais pleitos é algo essencial para o desenvolvimento das cidades: “Isso é municipalismo. É atender as pessoas. É isso o que nós queremos”.
Entre as obras já em andamento ou ainda a serem concluídas no município com recursos estaduais estão saneamento (R$ 76 milhões) e pavimentação asfáltica (R1,5 milhão).
Também participaram do anúncio de novos investimentos, os secretários Hélio Peluffo (Seilog), Eduardo Rocha (Casa Civil), João César Mattogrosso (adjunto da Casa Civil), o deputado estadual Junior Mochi e Pedro Caravina.
