A Prefeitura de Campo Grande, representada pela Agência Municipal de Meio Ambiente e Planejamento Urbano (Planurb), irá compor a Comissão Tripartite Estadual de Mato Grosso do Sul. A nomeação foi assinada pela Ministra de Estado do Meio Ambiente e Mudança do Clima, Mariana Silva, por meio da Portaria GM/MMA n. 1.022, de 27 de março de 2024, publicada na edição desta quinta-feira (28) no Diário Oficial da União.

As comissões técnicas tripartites representam um espaço de diálogo entre os órgãos e entidades ambientais dos municípios, dos estados, do Distrito Federal e da União, com o objetivo de fortalecer o Sistema Nacional do Meio Ambiente (Sisnama).

Além disso, possuem o objetivo de apoiar os processos de articulação para uma gestão ambiental compartilhada e a implantação das principais políticas setoriais nacionais, além de promover a capacitação de gestores municipais para aplicação de normas sobre os diversos temas ambientais, tais como combate ao desmatamento, unidades de conservação, financiamento ambiental, gerenciamento costeiro, gestão florestal, gestão integrada de resíduos sólidos, licenciamento ambiental, mudanças climáticas, dentre outros.

“Campo Grande está integrada nas discussões sobre meio ambiente e mudanças climáticas, buscando se aprimorar por meio da troca de experiências. É uma oportunidade única de tornar a nossa gestão ambiental municipal mais eficiente”, destaca a Diretora-Presidente da Planurb, Berenice Maria Jacob Domingues.

Os componentes das comissões tripartites devem ainda buscar sensibilizar, mobilizar e articular entidades e organizações da sociedade civil para fortalecer e tornar mais participativa a gestão ambiental local.

“Recentemente, realizamos o debate visando a atualização e revisão do Sistema Municipal de Licenciamento e Controle Ambiental (SILAM). Apesar de ter sido instituído em 1999, o SILAM era um modelo para muitos municípios de Mato Grosso do Sul e do país. Além disso, são inúmeras iniciativas da Prefeitura de Campo Grande que demonstram o comprometimento com a questão ambiental”, comenta a Diretora de Planejamento e Monitoramento da Planurb, Mariana Massud.

Participam das comissões estaduais representantes do Ministério do Meio Ambiente e Mudança do Clima, por meio do Instituto Brasileiro do Meio Ambiente e dos Recursos Naturais Renováveis (Ibama) e do Instituto Chico Mendes de Conservação da Biodiversidade (ICMBio); do Órgão Estadual de Meio Ambiente; e, dos Órgãos Municipais de Meio Ambiente, por meio da Associação Nacional de Municípios e Meio Ambiente (Anamma).
