A Autarquia Especial Municipal de Limpeza Urbana (Emlur) inicia a semana com a realização de ações de zeladoria em nove bairros de João Pessoa, nesta segunda-feira (11). As localidades atendidas com serviços de roçagem, capinação e pintura de meio-fio são Bessa, Manaíra, Alto do Céu, Pedro Gondim, Torre, Valentina Figueiredo, Ernesto Geisel, João Paulo II e Centro.  

As equipes de agentes de limpeza também executam os serviços em grandes corredores viários da cidade. São contempladas as avenidas  Epitácio Pessoa, Hilton Souto Maior, Perimetral Sul e Duarte da Silveira. Ainda há turmas de agentes de limpeza no Parque Parahyba 2 (Bessa).  

A coleta de resíduos diversificados – materiais misturados com terra, restos de capim, resíduos da construção civil, móveis e resíduos domiciliares descartados irregularmente nas ruas – é feita nos bairros de Bessa, Jardim Oceania, Jardim Aeroclube, Cruz das Armas, Colinas do Sul, Centro, Cidade dos Funcionários, Mangabeira, Jardim Planalto e Ernesto Geisel.  

A programação do recolhimento de resíduos de poda de árvores inclui os bairros de Tambiá, Jaguaribe, Planalto da Boa Esperança, Bancários, Jardim Cidade Universitária, Cidade Verde (Mangabeira), Ernesto Geisel, Cuiá, Mangabeira, Alto do Mateus, Cristo Redentor, Rangel, Bessa, Jardim Oceania e Jardim Aeroclube.
