Laboratório do Hospital Municipal Santa Isabel realiza quase 30 mil exames no primeiro trimestre do ano

O Laboratório de Análises Clínicas do Hospital Municipal Santa Isabel (HMSI) desempenha um importante papel na instituição, auxiliando no diagnóstico e prevenção de doenças. Nos três primeiros meses desse ano, foram realizados 28.541 exames laboratoriais, com os quais foi possível prevenir e detectar enfermidades, além de facilitar o tratamento adequado dos pacientes atendidos na unidade.  

O serviço de excelência prestado aos usuários da rede municipal de saúde, de acordo com a bioquímica Patrícia Urquiza Lundgren Bolognini, coordenadora do Laboratório de Análises Clínicas do Hospital Santa Isabel, é possível por conta dos investimentos realizados no setor.  

“Tivemos uma ampliação na oferta de exames laboratoriais com a renovação do parque tecnológico, que conta com equipamentos de excelente qualidade, ofertando aos usuários exames precisos, com rapidez e segurança, realizados por uma equipe de excelência”, destacou Patrícia Urquiza.  

O laboratório atende os pacientes internos do hospital, bem como o ambulatório de cirurgias, que foi ampliado em função do programa João Pessoa Opera Mais.  

Bastante demandado, o laboratório realizou 114.970 mil exames em 2023, o que corresponde a uma média mensal de quase 10 mil procedimentos, que vem se repetindo este ano.  

Mais de 30 pessoas integram os quadros do laboratório, entre bioquímicos, biomédicos, profissionais de nível médio, incluindo técnicos em laboratório e de enfermagem, além de pessoal de apoio e auxiliares administrativo e recepcionista.  

E o trabalho e dedicação dos profissionais que integram o laboratório contam com o reconhecimento dos pacientes. No ano passado, o laboratório instituiu a pesquisa de satisfação do usuário e a percepção dos pacientes foram as melhores possíveis. 95% das respostas consideraram a experiência no serviço ótima ou excelente, com destaque para as equipes de atendimento e coleta.  

Isso, destaca a bioquímica Patrícia Urquiza, fortalece a motivação da equipe em cada vez mais oferecer o melhor para a população de João Pessoa. “Continuaremos buscando a excelência em nosso serviço, oferecendo exames com qualidade, segurança e rapidez, com uma equipe cada vez mais qualificada e preparada para receber nossa população”, garantiu.  

Cultura bacteriológica – Ainda sobre exames de qualidade, também funciona no Santa Isabel, o Laboratório de Microbiologia, que atende todos os hospitais da rede municipal, realizando exames de cultura bacteriológica, utilizando o que há de mais avançado na automação e com equipe especializada. “Um ganho inestimável para a população da nossa cidade”, ressalta a bioquímica.
