Visando colaborar com as operações de segurança e atendimento à população nas áreas mais afetadas pelas enchentes, a Polícia Civil de Minas Gerais (PCMG) enviará ao Rio Grande do Sul, no próximo domingo (19/5), 32 policiais civis das carreiras de delegado, investigador e escrivão.
A equipe, composta por servidores do Departamento Estadual de Investigação de Crimes Contra o Patrimônio (Depatri), Departamento Estadual de Combate ao Narcotráfico (Denarc), Departamento Estadual de Investigação de Homicídios e Proteção à Pessoa (DHPP), Departamento Estadual de Operações Especiais (Deoesp) e Coordenadoria de Operações Estratégicas (COE) foi selecionada entre aqueles que se voluntariaram, pela experiência operacional, bom preparo físico e psicológico.
Os policiais, liderados pelo coordenador adjunto da COE, delegado João Francisco Barbosa Neto, sairão em comboio, em nove viaturas, até Porto Alegre, podendo, posteriormente, se deslocarem para cidades que possuem maior necessidade de apoio policial.
Para o superintendente de Investigação e Polícia Judiciária, delegado-geral Júlio Wilke, a missão é garantir a segurança e, especialmente, promover atendimento humanitário, devido à grande quantidade de pessoas em abrigos e possíveis crimes que possam ocorrer nesses locais. “É um ato, não só de altíssima complexidade policial, mas também humanitário”, afirma.
O coordenador da missão, delegado João Francisco Neto, informa que a previsão é de que a equipe permaneça por 15 dias no estado gaúcho.
“A polícia existe para ajudar as pessoas. Lá faremos o que já desempenhamos em nosso dia a dia, porém, em condições adversas. Precisaremos ser um corpo forte, unido, com espírito de equipe aflorado para cumprir a contento essa missão”, enfatiza.
A equipe se reunirá às 6h de domingo, no Ginásio Poliesportivo da Academia de Polícia Civil (Acadepol-MG), no bairro Nova Gameleira, de onde sairá em direção ao Rio Grande do Sul.
