Mantas para vítimas de enchente no RS são confeccionadas na penitenciária de Três Lagoas – Agência de Noticias do Governo de Mato Grosso do Sul

Em um esforço conjunto de solidariedade e ressocialização, a Agepen (Agência Estadual de Administração do Sistema Penitenciário) e a Ong Artaban (Associação do Aprendizado Ressocialização e Trabalho do Apenado) uniram forças para auxiliar os gaúchos em um momento de grande necessidade.

Utilizando a mão de obra dos reeducandos da PSMTL (Penitenciária de Segurança Média de Três Lagoas), foram confeccionadas mais de mil mantas destinadas às vítimas das recentes enchentes no Rio Grande do Sul.

A parceria, que já existe para a ocupação dos internos na oficina de costura da penitenciária, desta vez direcionou seus esforços para a produção de mantas. Vinte e cinco reeducandos estiveram envolvidos na confecção, desviando-se temporariamente de suas atividades rotineiras, que incluem a produção de uniformes escolares e outras peças de vestuário.

Esse trabalho não apenas oferece uma ocupação produtiva aos internos, mas também proporciona benefícios concretos: eles recebem 3/4 do salário mínimo e têm um dia de pena reduzido a cada três dias de trabalho.

“É um orgulho ver nossos reeducandos se dedicando a uma causa tão nobre. Este projeto mostra que, mesmo em um ambiente de privação de liberdade, é possível contribuir de maneira significativa para a sociedade”, comentou o diretor da PSMTL, Walter Medeiros.

Para a presidente da Ong Artaban, Eronita Boeira, o “pequeno gesto” foi uma forma encontrada para ajudar a levar alívio e aquecer o coração dos nossos irmãos gaúchos.

Todo o material utilizado foi fornecido pela nossa organização, e ver o resultado desse esforço coletivo é realmente gratificante.

As mantas já foram enviadas ao Rio Grande do Sul, onde estão sendo distribuídas às famílias afetadas pelas enchentes. Esta ação reforça a importância de iniciativas que promovam a solidariedade e a ressocialização, mostrando que a colaboração entre órgãos públicos e organizações não governamentais pode trazer benefícios significativos para toda a sociedade.
