A população poderá conferir, a partir deste sábado (8), a exposição “Fan Art: O Mundo de Mortal Kombat”, no Pátio Cianê Shopping. A mostra gratuita, que contará com obras do artista Thiago Silva, além de itens da lendária série de games de luta, dos colecionadores Rogerio Silva e Adriano Pontes, estará disponível para visitação no Bloco B do empreendimento, no Piso 1, até o dia 7 de julho.
Promovida pela Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio da Secretaria de Cultura (Secult), com o apoio do shopping, a exposição tem como objetivo levar a arte sempre para perto da população sorocabana e valorizar os artistas locais.
Uma das franquias mais conhecidas e prestigiadas do mundo dos videogames, que atravessa gerações com sua mecânica única, lutadores emblemáticos e seu estilo de arte, Mortal Kombat é um jogo também conhecido pela sua temática “aterrorizante”. A série, originalmente desenvolvida pela Midway Games, em 1992, foi adquirida pela Warner Bros Games, em 2011, com o desenvolvimento da NetherRealm Studios, após o fechamento da Midway.
A paixão de Thiago Silva fez com que o artista se tornasse um dos embaixadores membro da comunidade de fan art do Mortal Kombat no mundo, o Kollective, uma plataforma lançada para que os fãs possam manifestar sua arte junto ao game mais recente: o Mortal Kombat 1.
Além das obras de arte de Thiago Silva, a exposição também será composta por itens de Rogerio Silva e Adriano Pontes, grandes colecionadores e amantes do universo Mortal Kombat, como histórias em quadrinhos, revistas, filmes, jogos e objetos originais e raros.
A exposição poderá ser conferida de segunda a sábado, das 10h às 22h, e, aos domingos, das 12h às 20h, até o dia 7 de julho. O Pátio Cianê Shopping está localizado na Avenida Afonso Vergueiro, 823, no Centro, ao lado do Terminal Santo Antônio.
