A Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio da Secretaria de Serviços Públicos e Obras (Serpo), anunciou, na tarde desta sexta-feira (1), duas obras em áreas públicas em bairros Zona Norte da cidade. A primeira delas é a implantação de uma pista de skate no Jardim São Guilherme e a segunda, de uma academia ao ar livre no Parque das Paineiras, *ambas executadas como parte do programa municipal “Sorocaba Linda de Verdade”*, a partir de emendas impositivas do Legislativo Municipal.
O local em que será implantada a pista de skate fica na Rua Francisco Augusto, altura do nº 175, e contemplará playground, bancos, iluminação com tecnologia em LED e passeio público. Os trabalhos, com prazo de entrega de até 90 dias após o início das obras, estão a cargo da empresa W2 Engenharia e Consultoria LTDA, sob supervisão da Serpo.
“Muito boa a iniciativa da Prefeitura de Sorocaba em implantar uma área de lazer para os jovens do bairro. Parabéns a todos pela iniciativa”, disse a moradora da região do Jardim São Guilherme há mais de 30 anos, Modesta Alves.
Na academia ao ar livre, localizada na Rua Eliza Stefani Lamos, s/n, no Parque das Paineiras também incluem bancos, iluminação com tecnologia em LED e passeio público. Os trabalhos, com prazo de entrega de até cinco meses após o início das obras, são conduzidos pela empresa Mahal Serviços em Construção Civil LTDA, também com acompanhamento da Serpo.
