Prefeitura de Nova Iguaçu disponibiliza Pontos de Apoio para atender possíveis vítimas das chuvas
Diante da previsão de fortes chuvas que devem atingir algumas regiões do Estado do Rio, incluindo diversos municípios da Baixada Fluminense, até a noite do próximo domingo, a Prefeitura de Nova Iguaçu, por meio das Secretarias Municipais de Defesa Civil e Assistência Social (SEMAS), já preparou 52 Pontos de Apoio caso seja necessário abrigar moradores vítimas do temporal. A recomendação é que a população que mora em áreas de vulnerabilidade, ao perceber que vai chover ou ser avisada pelo SMS da Defesa Civil, saia de casa e procure um local seguro. Caso não tenha onde se abrigar, como em residências de parentes, por exemplo, dirija-se até um dos pontos de apoio. Além dos 37 disponibilizados pela Defesa Civil, a SEMAS vai oferecer 11 Centros de Referência da Assistência Social (Cras) e quatro Centros de Referência Especializado de Assistência Social (Creas). Outros nove pontos da Prefeitura também podem se tornar abrigos temporários.
“Como há uma expectativa da aproximação de uma frente fria e uma previsão de chuvas fortes com rajadas de ventos, estamos nos preparando para uma pronta resposta. Disponibilizamos para as famílias que vivem em locais próximos de áreas vulneráveis, como alagamentos ou deslizamentos de terra, de forma antecipada, os endereços dos pontos de apoio”, disse o secretário de Defesa Civil de Nova Iguaçu, coronel Jorge Ribeiro, que já está com todo seu efetivo de prontidão até domingo, quando os meteorologistas preveem que as condições climáticas terão melhorado.
A Defesa Civil tem um canal de comunicação por SMS com avisos das condições climáticas. Já são mais de 68 mil pessoas cadastradas para receber os alertas. O serviço é gratuito e oferecido desde 2018 por mensagem de texto para 40199, informando o CEP de interesse. Desde a noite desta quarta-feira (20), um aviso de alerta meteorológico de chuvas intensas com elevados acumulados pluviométricos e ventos fortes. A previsão é entre a noite desta quinta-feira (21) até a noite de domingo.
Em caso de emergência, a população deve entrar em contato com a Defesa Civil pelos dos números 199 / 2667-5751 / 98160-9740. Já a SEMAS disponibilizou a Central de Atendimento do Sistema Único de Assistência Social, no número 21 99706-8443 para a população que necessitar de atendimento da assistência social. O atendimento é 24 horas.
