Município é o primeiro da região a conquistar a honraria e passa a integrar seleto grupo em todo o País

A Prefeitura de Sorocaba recebeu, na tarde desta sexta-feira (5), um grupo de representantes da Caixa Econômica Federal (CEF) para oficializar o reconhecimento de ser primeira cidade da região a conquistar o Selo Gestão Sustentável. Dessa forma, Sorocaba integra o seleto grupo de municípios reconhecidos em todo País pela CEF, com essa honraria.

Trata-se de uma inciativa que condecora municípios que apresentam indicadores públicos que denotam a aplicação de boas práticas de Governança e Responsabilidade Socioambiental (Environmental, Social and Governance – ESG). São avaliados indicadores, subdivididos em quatro categorias: Ambiental, Social, Governança e Climático.

Os 21 indicadores são separados da seguinte forma: Ambiental: acesso à água potável; acesso à coleta de esgoto; índice de tratamento de esgoto; coleta seletiva e saneamento básico.

Social: cobertura de atendimento por creche; cobertura de unidade básica de saúde e atenção primária à saúde; qualidade da educação básica; atualização cadastral; plano municipal de habitação e vulnerabilidade social.

Governança: capacidade de investimentos; atendimentos à Lei de Responsabilidade Fiscal (LRF) – despesas com pessoal; regularidade das contas públicas; capacidade de pagamento; certificação e governança; adoção do Building Information Modelling (BIM) e gestão no desempenho de obras públicas.

Climático: pegada de carbono e plano de gerenciamento e riscos e desastres.
A iniciativa reconhece os municípios que adotam soluções eficientes com transparência e sustentabilidade, e tem como objetivo incentivar a gestão responsável, a melhoria de qualidade de vida do cidadão e a otimização do uso de recursos naturais geridos pelo governo local. Todos os municípios brasileiros são elegíveis, mas precisam atingir a pontuação mínima necessária para a obtenção do selo. No caso, Sorocaba atingiu mais de 60 pontos e conquistou o Selo Cristal.

De acordo com a instituição, entre as vantagens para os municípios que obtém o selo está a possibilidade de acesso a condições diferenciadas na contratação de produtos e serviços junto à Caixa Econômica.

“Esse é um selo que reconhece o município com todo envolvimento na questão de uma boa gestão. É necessário, por exemplo, que as contas estejam em ordem e a organização da cidade, na estrutura e no combate à poluição, seja realizada com eficiência. Isso é muito importante para o futuro da população de Sorocaba e a cidade está de parabéns nesses quesitos, pois são pouquíssimos municípios no Brasil que demonstram essa excelência na gestão”, destaca Cristiano Boaventura de Medeiros, diretor de Serviços do Governo da Caixa Econômica Federal.

Essa é a primeira etapa de conquista da honraria para Sorocaba, uma vez que o selo tem quatro níveis: Cristal, Topázio, Safira e Diamante, sendo que, cada um requer uma pontuação mínima necessária para a concessão, conforme as regras abaixo:

Selo Cristal: mínimo de 60 pontos alcançados;

Selo Topázio: mínimo de 70 pontos alcançados;

Selo Safira: mínimo de 80 pontos alcançados;

Selo Diamante: mínimo de 100 pontos alcançados.

Estiveram presentes na reunião, além de autoridades do Executivo Municipal, os seguintes representantes da CEF: Cristiano Boaventura de Medeiros (diretor de Serviços de Governo), Eliseu Fernando Prudente Moda (superintendente-executivo), Dayse Arenhart (gerente de filial), Carlos Henrique Meganha Pompeu (gerente-executivo), Carlos Rubstein (coordenador de filial) e Marcos Antônio Sensao (gerente-executivo).
