Evento é organizado pela maior associação do segmento no mundo (ATTA)
Bonito foi o escolhido para ser sede do Adventure ELEVATE 2025, conferência internacional sobre ecoturismo, organizada pela Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) e será o município responsável por apresentar Mato Grosso do Sul e o Brasil para representantes do segmento no cenário mundial. O anúncio oficial ocorreu nesta quarta-feira, durante o AdventureELEVATE América, em Quito, no Equador.
O prefeito Josmail Rodrigues, acompanhado da secretária de Turismo e Desenvolvimento Econômico de Bonito, Juliane Salvadori, do diretor-presidente da Fundação de Turismo de Mato Grosso do Sul (Fundtur) Bruno Wendling e do presidente da Embratur, Marcelo Freixo participou da cerimônia de anúncio e destacou a importância do evento para Bonito.
“O AdventureELEVATE reúne profissionais de turismo do mundo inteiro, que vem em busca de inspiração, novas ideias e tendências para cada ano e recebê-los em Bonito será algo enorme para nós, porque poderemos apresentar pessoalmente as belezas naturais, as práticas sustentáveis e proporcionar experiências reais do que vendemos para eles, seja por meio das plataformas digitais ou nos eventos que participamos. Então é realmente trazer os olhos do mundo para Bonito”, detalha o prefeito.
“Estávamos buscando essa oportunidade há algum tempo e agora seremos a sede do maior evento de ecoturismo do mundo. A partir desta conquista, vamos trabalhar com o trade e nos preparar para receber toda a demanda que esse evento trará e não perder nenhuma oportunidade de promover Bonito. Agradeço imensamente o apoio do Governo do Estado de MS, por meio da Fundtur, da Embratur e demais envolvidos nessa conquista, que com certeza, será compartilhada e celebrada por todos”, complementa a secretária.
Bruno Wendling destacou a capacidade de Bonito realizar um grande evento. “A referência que temos hoje é o resultado de um trabalho conjunto entre setor público e privado de mais de quarenta anos na direção de um turismo responsável, que consegue agora entregar para todos um destino incrível e preparado para receber eventos desta importância e dimensão”, disse.
O presidente da Embratur, Marcelo Freixo destacou que a Agência formalizou apoio à candidatura da cidade sul-mato-grossense ainda em 2023. “Bonito é referência internacional de ecoturismo, não apenas por sua beleza natural e a qualidade dos seus serviços, mas porque está na vanguarda de políticas de sustentabilidade. Recebermos um evento desta magnitude em Bonito é um recado para o mundo de um Brasil que é o principal destino de ecoturismo do planeta, e promove um tipo de turismo que se propõe construir um mundo melhor”, afirmou Freixo.
Para a vice-presidente da Adventure Travel Trade Association, Gabriella Stowell, a escolha da cidade representa um exemplo de destino que pratica o turismo sustentável para o mundo. “Bonito é o destino que a gente fala que tem tudo o que um destino de aventura deve ter: natureza, cultura e atividade física. É muito interessante o Brasil estar presente nesse evento da América Latina, porque a gente é diferente dos nossos vizinhos. Sobre a escolha de Bonito, estamos muito contentes, é um sonho, pois a gente já trabalha com esses destinos nas feiras há muito tempo”, ressaltou Stowell.
A Embratur é associada da ATTA, e realizou ações voltadas para o turismo de natureza neste ano em parceria com a instituição, como as quatro edições do “AdventureConnect”, realizadas no primeiro trimestre de 2024 em Madrid (Espanha), Boston (Estados Unidos), Berlim (Alemanha) e Washington (Estados Unidos). Essas ações representam oportunidades de promoção da imagem do Brasil como destino de referência para a prática de Ecoturismo e Turismo de Aventura no mundo, alinhado às práticas de preservação e conservação ambiental.
